Shadowing the Ypsilanti Art Scene
Shadow Art Fair
The Shadow Art Fair takes place twice a year in Ypsilanti, Michigan, once in July and then again in December. Its biggest supporter, and venue for the event, is the Corner Brewery. This community event is a chance for native artists to show and sell their work, make it be known and hopefully earn a profit from the display. The Shadow Art Fair is a juried event. It provides a chance for local artists to exhibit and put their works on the market. The Shadow Art Fair offers a comfortable, friendly, and supportive setting for Ypsilanti’s artistic center. Local music, featured brews, and other special activities add a distinct flavor and sense of community to this creative showcase. The fair will be held on Saturday, July 10, from noon to midnight. The Shadow Art Fair is created and organized by the Michigan Design Militia and is sponsored by the Corner Brewery and VGKids.
