Wel­come to the 10th HanseArt.

Art up close — that is HanseArt.

Embrac­ing the theme, “Con­ti­nents United by Art”, HanseArt will exhibit on 6,000 square meters of Hall 6 at the Bre­men Exhi­bi­tion Cen­tre, Novem­ber 11 –13, 2011.

Vis­i­tors have the oppor­tu­nity to admire and buy the works of over 150 national and inter­na­tional artists, art groups, and gal­leries. The large selec­tion includes fig­u­ra­tive paint­ings as well as abstract, expres­sion­ist and sur­re­al­ist paint­ings, draw­ings, prints, cal­lig­ra­phy, and illus­tra­tions. Fur­ther styl­is­tic diver­sity is offered by exhibit­ing wood­cuts, car­toons, as well as sculp­tures of stone, wood or bronze and pho­tog­ra­phy.
The artists will be on site dur­ing the dura­tion of the exhibit, pro­vid­ing vis­i­tors the oppor­tu­nity for per­sonal con­tact and to learn about the back­ground of the works on dis­play.
The HanseArt will be opened on Fri­day, Novem­ber 11th by the Coun­cilmem­ber for Cul­ture Car­men Emigholz at 6:00 p.m.
