Art up close — that is HanseArt.
Embracing the theme, “Continents United by Art”, HanseArt will exhibit on 6,000 square meters of Hall 6 at the Bremen Exhibition Centre, November 11 –13, 2011.
Visitors have the opportunity to admire and buy the works of over 150 national and international artists, art groups, and galleries. The large selection includes figurative paintings as well as abstract, expressionist and surrealist paintings, drawings, prints, calligraphy, and illustrations. Further stylistic diversity is offered by exhibiting woodcuts, cartoons, as well as sculptures of stone, wood or bronze and photography.
The artists will be on site during the duration of the exhibit, providing visitors the opportunity for personal contact and to learn about the background of the works on display.
The HanseArt will be opened on Friday, November 11th by the Councilmember for Culture Carmen Emigholz at 6:00 p.m.
